Love Story (Part : 100 Good Bye Kiss)

“Mom, dad, I need to talk to you.” Manik sauntered into his parents room. That time, Raj was working on laptop, sitting on the sofa and Neyonika was sitting beside him, doing something in her phone. They both looked up at him.

“Is everyone fine, Manik?” Neyonika asked concernedly, looking at him as Manik sat down beside her.

“Everything is fine. I just want to tell something. I’ve asked bhai and bhabhi to come here too. Let them come, then I’ll tell.” They both nodded their head as Manik told them.

“I hope, there’s nothing serious.” Raj said to confirm because Manik was sounding sad.

“Everything is fine, mom, dad. Don’t worry.” He assured them, blinking his eyes.

Zoya and Adi rushed into the room. “What happened, Manik? Why did you ask us to come here urgently?” Adi asked concernedly, Zoya was also looking at him worriedly.

“Please settle down first and don’t panic. Everything is fine. I’m just little worried about something. That’s why I want to share this with you all.” As Manik said, Adi and Zoya settled down comfortably on the sofa in front of them.

“You all know that I’m going to New York for a week.” They all nodded their head. He continued after sighing. “As you all aware about Nandini’s condition. She’s trying to move on from her past. Nightmare haunts her when I’m not with her. I just want you all to take care of her in my absence.”

“What are you saying, beta? Off course we all will take care of her. She’s the part of our family now.” Neyonika instantly said and everybody nodded their head, agreeing to her.

“I know, you all will take care of her. I’m just worried for her. I don’t know, how will she live without me? If it isn’t important, I wouldn’t have never decided to go, leaving her alone. Please don’t leave her alone for even a single second, specially at night and give her medicine on time.” He was really tensed for her. Neyonika put her hand over her shoulder.

“Manik, relax, we’ll be with her twenty four hours. You please don’t think too much. Focus on your work. We’ll not let her feel lonely.” Zoya reassured him, blinking her eyes.

“Yes, Manik. Don’t worry.” Adi said and he gave him faint smile.

“She’ll be completely fine soon. Don’t worry, Manik.” Neyonika hugged him and he hugged her back.

“I’m waiting for that day.” Manik murmured as they broke the hug.

Zoya and Adi sauntered into their room, thinking about Manik. “You know, when I see Nandini’s condition. It made me remember about my old days when you were not in my life. It was getting so difficult for me to move on. But then you came and you brought back light into my dark life. I love you so much.” Adi hugged Zoya, smiling blissfully. Zoya too smiled, wrapping her arms around him. He pulled her closer to himself.

“Adi, why don’t you talk to Nandini?” Zoya suggested him to talk to Nandini as they broke the hug.

“I’m also thinking this. I’ll talk to her tonight. I think, she really needs my advice now. Maybe I can help her.” He decided to talk to Nandini.

Manik was leaving for the Airport. He was biding bye to everyone while the driver was putting his luggage in the car. Nandini’s heart was crying but she was not showing to him. Manik was also disheartened to leave his angel alone but he was also not showing his sadness to Nandini. Both were hiding the pain of separation from each other for each other happiness.

“Musu, say bye to chachu.” Zoya said to Muskan who was in her arms.

“Chachu, Musu ne maaf toh kal diya aapko letin aap plomise kalo. Vapas akal aap mere sath kubh sara time spend kaloge.” She uttered in her cute language and everybody chuckled.

“Promise, meri jaan.” He leaned down and placed a kiss on her cheek.

“I’ll miss you, chachu.” She pouted sadly.

“When you’ll miss me, spend time with your chachi, okay.” He placed his hand over her tiny cheek. She nodded her head cutely.

“Take care of yourself, angel.” He hugged Nandini and kissed her hair.

“You too take care of yourself, Manik. I know you’ll remain busy but please eat on time.” she said, keeping her hand on his face. He blinked his eyes. He clasped her hand and kissed her knuckles. She smiled blissfully, feeling the touch of his lips. She would miss his touch a lot. She wasn’t understanding that how she would survive one week without him. Everybody were smiling at the love birds.

Manik settled down inside the car. “I’ll miss you, Manik.” Her lips drawn down. He smirked as suddenly a naughty idea came into his mind.

“Come down..” He gestured her to lean down through his hand. She stared at him bemusedly and leaned down. He clasped her face and captured her lips after taking his face out of the window hastily. She widened her eyes, she was utterly shocked with his sudden kiss. He kissed her lips in front of their whole family without any care. Zoya took Muskan inside the home while others were smiling at them. She wasn’t expecting the kiss but she needed it badly at this moment, a goodbye kiss. He kissed her lips softly. She ruffled his hair and responded him with equal flavour, forgetting everything. They wanted to stop the time here only but couldn’t. They pulled away from each other unwillingly.

“I’ll miss you too, angel.” He whispered and pecked her lips.

“I love you.” She murmured, looking at him passionately.

“I love you too, angel.” He gently kissed her forehead and settled down inside the car, ignoring everybody’s gaze.

“Bhai, bhabhi, today you showed us the movie without the ticket.” Everybody chuckled as Cabir teased them. How could he leave this chance to tease Manan. Nandini flushed, moving her eyelashes down.

“Okay, now see you everyone after one week.” Manik bid the bye for the last time. Manan stared at each other silently. The driver started the car and it start going away from Nandini’s eyesight. Her eyes became moist, seeing him leaving. She rushed inside the home because she couldn’t able to control her emotions anymore. She dashed into her room, tears were trickling down her soft cheeks.

She was sobbing, sitting on the edges of bed. Suddenly her phone started ringing which was in her hand. “Manik” She instantly stopped crying, seeing the caller id. She wiped her tears with the back of her hand before answering the call.

She put the phone over her ear. “Are you crying, angel?” She widened her eyes in shock.

“How did he come to know?” She wondered and looked around, doubting him.

“Stop looking around for me, angel. I’m not there. I know you must be crying now because I know you more than you know yourself.” Fresh tears rolled down from her eyes because she was missing him already.

“That’s why I love you Manik.” She smiled faintly after confession the love proudly. He chuckled.

“Please, angel don’t cry like this. I’m with you always in your heart. When you close your eyes, you will see my face. I’m in you, angel and you’re in me. Nobody can separate us, even separation can’t separate us because we are two bodies, one soul. Just our bodies is separated from each other, not our soul. Close your eyes now, please.” He requested her to close her eyes.

“Okay.” She instantly closed her eyes because she was so lost in him.

“Just feel me. The air which is caressing your face, feel me in that.” She smiled, feeling the air which was touching her face. She could really feel him near her, she smiled contentedly.

“I can feel your presence, Manik.” Manik too smiled because she was sounding so happy from her voice.

“Manik, I love you. I love you a lot.” She confessed wholeheartedly after opening her eyes which were twinkling with the happiness.

“I love you too, angel.” He whispered. “Feeling better?” He asked to confirm.

“Feeling amazing.” She uttered happily.

“You know, I’m going to spend sixteen hours of flight by admiring you.”

“How?” She asked instantly.

“By seeing your photos and watching our honeymoon videos.”

“Superb Idea.”

“Now whenever I miss you, I’ll close my eyes and feel you in this air. I’m so happy, Manik.”

“Just stay happy like this only because you’re happy, I’m happy.” She smiled, listening to his words.

“By the way Manik, the goodbye kiss was so shocking for me. I didn’t expect it.”

“I just couldn’t able to stop myself.” Both chuckled.

“You know, I badly needed the kiss at that moment.” She confessed, blushing and he chuckled. “Manik, if I miss the touch of your lips then what I should do? Do you have any solution of it?” She asked, playing with her hair strands, curling it around her forefinger.

He chuckled. “Just count the days and the wait will be worth.”

“That what I’ll do.” She pouted sadly. “But don’t forget to call me everyday.” She warned him.

“I’ll call you after every few hours, don’t worry.” She smiled happily.

“I love you.”

“I love you too, angel.”
