{Beyond Love} Chapter: 6 (Sidnaaz)

Sana’s POV:

I came home to an angry-looking Anny.

She’s gonna kill me!!!!!

I totally forget about our plan to go to the mall.

“Before you say anything, I was at the cafe. I had a coffee with Mr Brown Eyes.” I said in a rush, hoping to divert her mind and I was indeed right.

Good job, Sana!

“Oh my god, tell me everything, did you kiss him? What did he say? Are you meeting him again?” She got up from the couch and pounce on me before I could even sit my ass down.

“Woah! Slow down, let me at least breathe,” I chuckled and sat down on the couch, she sat down beside me.

“I just ran into him and he invited me for a cup of coffee. We just hung out,” I replied casually so that it didn’t seem like a big deal.

“Well, go on.” She urged me with the curiosity sparkling in her eyes.

“Well nothing, we said our goodbyes and left.'” I shrugged and started playing with the ends of my crop top. She wasn’t convinced and narrowed her eyes at me, suspiciously.

God, I could never keep anything from this woman.

“Alright, he gave me his number and told me to call him when I reached.” I smiled shyly, not meeting her eyes and she screeched in delight.

“What are you waiting for? Call him.” She clapped her hand excitedly, ready to play matchmaker.

“Not gonna happen,” I said in a firm tone.

“C’mon, I haven’t seen him yet but from the way you react, I can see he has got your attention so why don’t you put yourself out of misery and give him a damn call,” she rolled her eyes and fell back on the couch.

“He might be a fuck boy for I know. He is just looking for some fun.” I replied quietly, thinking about all the girls fawning over him.

“Well, if that’s the case, even you aren’t ready for a relationship, why don’t you have some fun? With him,” she suggestively winked at me and I gasped.

Is she’s on drugs?

“I cannot believe you are even suggesting it. Don’t you know me? Fuck! It’s such a horrible idea and you know it.” I gave her a disgusting look and she giggled at my response.

“Awww, my sweet little virgin.” She teased me, making my cheeks go all red in embarrassment and I smacked her arm.

“Let’s go out and have some real fun.” I tried to change the subject before she could tease me further.

“Yes ma’am.” She was more than ready to go and we both left the house shortly.

After what seemed like three hours of endless shopping and fun, we were exhausted and tired. Once we reached home, I headed to my room and took a mini nap.

The loud ringing of my phone woke me up. I answered groggily not seeing the caller ID.

“Hey, Sana,” I recognised the voice immediately.

“Aryaman??” I sounded in surprise.

“Yeah, it’s me. I was hoping if I could come by and hang out.” He sounded hesitant.

“Uhh.. yeah sure, I’ll text you my address.” I was still sleepy. He must have thought I was not interested but I was actually surprised. How did he get my number? I don’t remember giving him. Maybe he got it from some application forms or the student portal.

“Okay, see you then.” He cut the call and I texted him the address. I freshened up a bit and went downstairs. About fifteen minutes later, I heard the doorbell and got up from the couch to answer the door.

“Who is it?” I could hear Anny from her room.

“Just a friend from college,” I shouted back and she came rushing outside, giving me a look. I immediately understood what that look was. I introduced him to Anny before she could assume that he was Sidharth.

“Ananya, Aryaman. Aryaman, Ananya.” I smiled and heard Anny relaxing next to me. I gave her a puzzled look.

“Oh thank god, nice to meet you, Aryaman. I heard you were her new BFF.” She eyed him in a playful angry manner.

“Stop it, Anny.” We both laughed and he chuckled nervously.

“Alright, I’ll leave you guys alone. Have fun.”

“Why don’t you join us?” Aryaman spoke up.

“Oh, I don’t want to intrude,” She waved her hand and gave him a small smile.

“I don’t mind, please do join us,” he gave her a friendly smile and I was happy that he was comfortable with Anny.

Well, my bro is a sweetheart. Who won’t like her?

“Okay, let’s do this.” She seemed excited and we circled the couch.

“So, what would you like to do Aryaman? We could watch a movie or something. You can pick the movie.” I sat down, letting outs a sigh.

“Alright, but you are gonna regret letting me choose the movie,” he warned us beforehand.

We had a great time and I completely enjoyed his company. I came to know that he was in a long-distance relationship with a girl named Tanya and he was totally in love with her, I could sense it from the way he spoke. She stayed in India as her parents couldn’t afford NY fees. We ordered pizza and all three of us ate hungrily. After chatting for a while, he left at around nine.

Later that night, I went to my room and fell back on my bed, thinking about what Anny said earlier about having fun. The feelings I get around Sidharth, can’t end up in having fun. I know this. It feels so real, so pure. His gorgeous brown eyes have it’s own vocabulary. But no, I can’t let myself distracted. I won’t. Maybe he’s just a mere attraction. I can fight this attraction or whatever feelings I have towards Sidharth and I’m going to fight. Whenever I see him, whenever he is near me, I always feel something is there which I don’t remember and I need to end this feeling, these questions. I felt determined and focused on completing my pending work. After feeling satisfied with work, I decided to call it night but before I could sleep a message popped out on my phone.

Sidharth: I asked you to call me once you reached home, baby girl.

I would be lying if I say, his message didn’t affect me. I could hear his voice from the message. I could sense him. But I’m not going to reply to him. This has to end.

Switching off my phone, I fell asleep.

Soon it was Monday, I had two or three classes each day and mostly it was over by noon and after that, I worked in the cafe. And it was going quite smoothly but I was scared today, what if he comes to the cafe, how will I attend him?

Relax Sana don’t think too much!

After getting ready for my work, I came to the cafe. I was struggling to hold five plates in my hand when felt someone intense gaze on me. I didn’t need to look up to see who the person was because I was aware of this feeling, I could feel him around me. And the moment I lifted my eyes, they met with certain pair of gorgeous brown eyes.

He’s here!

My breath hitched when I saw the intensity of his eyes. Taking a huge sigh, I served others and went towards his table where he was seating with his friends. The conversation was going on between his friends but his whole attention was on me.

“What would you like to have tonight,” I asked trying hard not to look towards him.

“The usual, for all of us.” One of his friends replied.

Thank god!

I served them their dishes one by one, but his intense gaze was literally making it difficult for me. When I served him, our hand slightly brushed which was enough to make me feel weak on my knees. I could see him smirking from the corner of my eyes.

“Thank you, baby girl.” He mouthed.

Damn! He knew it I was looking at him through the corner of my eyes.

I rushed back to the other table to pour water, but his intense gaze was literally making it difficult for me to focus on my work and I ended up pouring water by mistakenly on the man’s clothes.

“How dare you?” The man screamed standing up gaining the attention of the whole cafe.

He was wiping off the water from his clothes and my eyes widened.

“I’m so sorry, sir.” I immediately apologised, looking down, embarrassed.

“You silly stupid waitress, what have you done?” He yelled at me in fury. The look on his face made me shrink back.

“I’m s-sorry s-sir.” I stammered out of fear.

“Shut up! You are good for nothing. You’re paid for serving us but this is what you do? You brainless little piece of shit.” He swore at me while a lone tear rolled down my cheek.

Before I could say something, Sidharth came and stood in front of me.
