Within half an hour, they reached to Lifeline Hospital. She was constantly crying and her heart was pounding. Sid wasn’t leaving her hand, he was giving her strength by holding her hand tightly. He didn’t want her to think that she was alone in all this. He wanted to become her strength.

Now she was standing in front of ICU, holding the handle of the door. She was recalling all the beautiful and happy moments which they had spent together. She was going to meet him after two long years. She had loved him a lot and cried for him for a whole year. It was really difficult for her to forget him and his memories, but she moved on. Now it was getting even more difficult for her to gather the strength to meet him again when he was going to die. She had never thought that one day she would have to face this kind of situation in her life. Really, life is unpredictable.

Sid placed his hand over her shoulder from behind and uttered. “Be strong.” As she turned her face and looked up at him, he blinked his eyes. “You can do this.” He encouraged her and kissed her forehead.

She gave him a slight nod and turned her face towards the door. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to compose herself. Then she pushed the door open. She turned her face and after last time glancing at Sid, she stepped into the room. He remained outside.

Fresh tears escaped down her cheeks when she saw Arjun lying on the hospital bed, wearing the oxygen masks, wires were attached to his bodies and he was surrounded with the machines. She walked slowly with heavy steps towards him, tears were constantly trickling down her cheeks. She was sobbing badly.

She sobbed. “Ar-Arjun.” As she called him, placing her hand on his shoulder, he slowly opened his eyes. He smiled slightly after seeing her standing in front of his eyes after two long years. He had never stopped loving her in these two year. He was always there for her. The most difficult and painful things for him was to see hatred in her eyes for him and becoming the reason of her tears.

He removed the oxygen mask from his face. “Hi,” he greeted her smilingly. He was trying to be normal.

“Why? Why did you do this?” She asked, crying in distress.

“Because I don’t want to see you at the place where I’m today. I didn’t want to put your life at risk because of me.” He whispered, looking at her sorrowfully. Only he knew that how much it was difficult to leave her after crushing her heart. He cried and endured more pain than her. He did this for her only because he loved her truly. She pursed her lips and cried, turning her face to another side dejectedly.

He held her hand, gazing at lovingly and she looked at him with sorrowful eyes. “I know, I’ve hurt you a lot, but I did this for you because I wanted to see you happy and safe. Before dying, I just want to say sorry to you for giving so much pain.” He was breathing heavily. “I’m really sorry, Shehnaaz, I hope you forgive me.” A lone tear rolled down his cheek.

“I’ll forgive you if you promise me to stay with me and don’t go.” She cried painfully and asked him to promise her.

“I wish I could, but you know I’m happy for you that you got life partner like Sidharth. You can live safely with him. Now I can die peacefully because you’re happy with him.” He coughed and she cried more.

“I want you to stay with us. I don’t want to lose you again, Arjun because I still love you.” Sid was listening to their conversation, standing outside of the room and when she said this, a few tears rushed down his cheeks.

Then only Doctor came there. “I saw Arjun’s report, he’s out of danger now.” He informed this to Ram and walked into the room.

Sid wasn’t understanding that he should be happy after knowing this or he should feel bad because his Angel still loved Arjun which means she would leave him and go back to Arjun. “Arjun because I still love you.” Her words were, again and again, ringing in his ear. He was feeling like the whole world was sinking in front of his eyes. He left from there dejectedly, thinking that now his Sid would leave him.
